This is the first initiative in the motorcycling world promoted by Yamaha Motor Racing, the Mugello Circuit and the FIM (International Motorcycling Federation), supported by Dorna and IRTA (International Road Racing Teams Association), with the aim of involving the public in initiatives which are both environmentally and socially sustainable.
KISS Mugello has already successfully inspired a number of other important sustainability initiatives at other circuits such as COTA (Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas), Motorland (Aragon) and Catalunya (Barcelona). Other circuits and other motorcycling disciplines (such as speedway, with the KiSS Tampere programme, and trial with KiSS Andorra programme) have also organized various projects aimed at sustainable development in environmental, social and economic terms. This is because sustainability knows no borders or nationalities, as has been recognized by UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme).
